The objective of this review is to examine the probity and propriety of the use of fuel cards by:

  1. analysing data to identify potentially fraudulent or incorrect transactions
  2. following-up instances identified from the data review to determine the effectiveness of controls built into fuel cards and transaction reporting and monitoring aimed at preventing and/or detecting fraudulent or incorrect use.
